この話は史実で、その経緯は複雑だったことが予想される。

これはディランのツアーにお供した時のもの
最初はバンドの話だが
だんだんハリケーンの話になってくる
ハリケーン、ルービン・カーターは、ボクシングのチャンピオンだったが
黒人であることを理由に、デラ・ペスカという刑事に執拗に仕掛けられ
冤罪のわなに落ちた。

ボブ・ディランの名曲「ハリケーン」はこの事件の冤罪性を歌ったもの。
マジソンスクエアガーデンでコンサートがひらかれた
映画の中でディランの歌はでてくるのだが
モハメド・アリが運動に貢献したことは

あとはモチベーションが下がるような期間があったが

リスクに身をさらすことをためらわない
モハメド・アリはパンチドランカーで
体が震える痛々しい映像がわれわれの世代には記憶に新しい
だけど若いころから徴兵拒否や
何かでとかく社会に話題を振りまいた
それなりに志のある人生だった
